About learning at home

Research shows that the best thing you can do to help your child do well at school is get involved. Work with the teachers – you’re a team! There are lots of ways to do it.

How do I get involved?

Technology holds the key. It can help you stay in touch with school and talk to the teachers. You can use email and text alerts, and go online to:

  • see what lessons and homework your child has
  • see their reports, grades and attendance records
  • hear about school events
  • talk to teachers and other staff.
