Elm Park Primary School is taking shape. And everyone is having their say. Vicki, the headteacher, is using technology to make sure pupils, parents, staff and governors all feel involved.
Children have been visiting different buildings, looking at materials and taking photographs. Back in school, they’ve put together PowerPoint presentations to show the other pupils. And they’ve been making their recommendations to the school governors.
In this episode we get to know teaching assistant, Laura, and Darren and Michael who are in her podcast club. They interview Rob, the new school’s architect. They put their podcast onto the school’s blog. But what do the parents think about it all?
Meanwhile, the online votes have been counted by Ashlea. Stacks of people have voted on a colour for the new school uniform. Will it be purple? Or red? All will be revealed, along with the new school logo designed by the children.
