How do you know if your college is making good use of technology?
If there’s a good range of technology available There’s more and more new technology at your disposal such as interactive whiteboards, video conferencing, the internet, learning platforms, scanners and DVDs. Find out if your library or learning centre has electronic resources. You should be able to use some or all of these to help you learn, and for exam and course work preparation.
If tutors use different technology They will use technology to help them teach, complement traditional teaching methods and make the college run more effectively. They’ll also have the skills to help you get to grips with technology and get the best out of it.
If your college has its own website or contacts you by text or email Do you have access to information and support whenever and wherever you need it? Your college website is a really valuable source of information, keeping you up to date with latest advice and information. Check yours out.
